Lonzo Ball has amusing reaction to not being traded away by Lakers

This statement echoed his sentiments from earlier in the week, when he said publicly that "Luke Walton is the worst coach his son has ever had".

A lot has been made about how the ongoing trade rumors have affected the Lakers' locker room, so it's nice to see that Ball has kept his sense of humor in the process.

Ball, Kyle Kuzma and Brandon Ingram were mentioned in trade talks for Davis but ended up staying. Also, it just got even harder for the Lakers to make a move for Anthony Davis in the summer when the Boston Celtics can bid against them.

However, the two franchises failed to reach a deal before the trade deadline and Ball remained in Los Angeles.

The Lakers won only six of the 17 games LeBron missed with a groin injury he picked up on Christmas Day against the Golden State Warriors.

Ball had the best reaction of any Lakers player to the news that he wasn't being traded.

"Are you saying Lonzo is better than LeBron?"

According to LaVar, he believes the four-time MVP is getting old and wouldn't be able to guard Lonzo in one-on-one situations.

Ball shared a video on his Instagram story of him playing the Puff Daddy song "Bad Boy for Life", which includes the lyrics, "we ain't going nowhere". Los Angeles is 3-4 over the period, which LaVar suggested was proof the Lakers' young core wasn't as good without his son.
