At center court during the Golden State Warriors versus San Antonio Spurs game on Wednesday night, the team honored Civil Rights icon Tommie Smith.

The Warriors just sprayed around 42 assists, scored 49 points in the third quarter, pummeled the Spurs by 39 and moved to 13-1 in their last 14 games.

Stephen Curry had 19 points, DeMarcus Cousins 15, Andre Iguodala 11 and Kevon Looney 10 for Golden State, which accumulated 42 assists, the most by the Warriors this season. Patty Mills scored 16 points with four triples to lead the Spurs while Rudy Gay added 15 points.

Eventually, Durant was asked about how his and the Warriors' form.

Durant has been previously linked with a move to NY and now with Porzingis trade, many are speculating that the Warriors forward will make the Madison Square Garden his home next year along with another free agent, namely, Kyrie Irving or Kawhi Leonard. He directly targeted The Athletic's Ethan Strauss regarding his article about the two-time National Basketball Association champion's "presumed exit" from the Warriors this summer.

"I ain't feel like talking the last couple of days". "You got a dude, Ethan Strauss, who comes in here and just gives his whole opinion on stuff and makes it seem like it's coming from me".

"You all come in here every day asking about free agency, asking me, asking my team-mates, riling up the fans".

"Every time I say something it's getting twisted up and thrown out in so many different publications, try to tear me down with my words that I say", Durant said, speaking to the media for the first time in more than a week before cutting short his postgame remarks.

The back-to-back National Basketball Association champion then continued to hit out at the media about their treatment of him asking them to "grow up" and not always talk about free agency. Grow up. Yeah, you (points at reporter), grow up. "Do not 'shut up and dribble, ' but understand what you are doing".
