Kendrick Lamar, Drake and Childish Gambino Denied Grammy Performances

It appears she is not alone in her decision to decline a performance at the prestigious event because the trio of 0f Drake, Kendrick Lamar and Childish Gambino have all declined to perform as well.

The music business will be partying ahead of the show at celebrations including the pre-Grammy gala hosted by the Recording Academy and Clive Davis, the Family Tree Entertainment music managers pre-Grammy brunch and the Music Is Universal artist showcase hosted by Lucian Grainge. So here's a rundown of everything you need to know about the show before Sunday.

The winners of the 61st Grammy Awards will be announced on 10 February 2019, and fans in South Africa will be able to watch the fancy ceremony on DStv. The site will also host a live stream of red carpet arrivals starting at 5/4c. Lopez, who has not won a Grammy herself, will be leading the tribute, but it is not yet known if other artists will join in.

Looming predictions of rain could also put a damper on this year's awards ceremony.

Additionally, current nominee Dua Lipa will perform with St. Vincent.

Gaga, victor of six Grammys, is now nominated for Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, and Best Song Written For Visual Media for "Shallow" and Best Pop Solo Performance for "Joanne".

Who's nominated for Grammys this year?

. Despite being heavily advertised as part of the show, Grande is not performing nor even attending the Sunday ceremony, after she felt producers "insulted" her by asserting too much control over her song choices.
