Dua Lipa’s Grammys Look Is Just as Electric as Her Nominated Single

Dua Lipa is nominated this year for Best Dance Recording (for "Electricity") and-cue that feeling when the universe gets something right-Best New Artist.

'I want to say a really big thank you to my fans who've allowed me to be the best version of myself'.

Lipa performed for the crowd attending the Grammy Awards on Sunday night with "Best Rock Song" victor St. Vincent, playing St. Vincent's winning song "MASSEDUCTION" and Lipa's 'One Kiss'.

Moments after performing alongside St. Vincent, Lipa received the Grammy for Best New Artist.

"So many women!" Lipa continued. She said that she was "honoured.to be nominated alongside so many incredible female artists this year".

The statement was a reference to Portnow's comments a year ago when he said that female performers needed to "step up" in order to be nominated and win awards.

Dua Lipa was on FIRE last night at The Grammys.

Asked about 21's situation backstage at the Grammys 2019, Dua said she finds it "upsetting, given that he hasn't actually done anything".

The 23-year-old "New Rules" hit-maker sparkled in silver on the red carpet at the 2019 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 10) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. This has been changed to "Kosovo-British musician".
