Dallas Mavs Traded Harrison Barnes To Sacramento Kings Mid-Game

Grade the Trade Kings get Harrison Barnes from Mavs for Justin Jackson and Zach Randolph

Bacon will rejoin the Hornets in Dallas prior to the team's game against the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019 at 8:30pm ET. He could be a buyout candidate as he is on an expiring contract.

Against Charlotte, Barnes scored 10 points in 26 minutes before sitting out the fourth quarter after the trade was completed.

Hornets: G Tony Parker was out with a back strain in what would have been his first appearance in Dallas since leaving San Antonio after 17 seasons with the rival Spurs. He has appeared in 11 games for the Swarm, averaging 21.2 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 32.3 minutes per game.

Before Pierce's report, the mid-game trade of Barnes led Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James to highlight what he believes is a double standard between organizations and players. After completing a trade with Cleveland and Houston to unload Iman Shumpert and acquire Alec Burks, the Kings go grab their new starting small forward for this playoff push. Marvin Williams, Nicolas Batum, Bismack Biyombo and Jeremy Lamb combined for 36 points on 14-of-37 shooting. Porzingis, Tim Hardaway Jr., Courtney Lee and Trey Burke is a nice haul for Dallas in place of Dennis Smith Jr., Wesley Matthews and DeAndre Jordan. Dwight Powell had his second double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds.

After trying to figure out how to incorporate three new guards into his rotation, and only using two, Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle has a couple of forwards coming in with Randolph and Jackson. "Everything is going to bump a little here and a little there".
