Bud Light’s Super Bowl ad angers the corn industry

Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos decided not to air an expensive Super Bowl commercial for his private space aviation firm, Blue Origin, because of his girlfriend Lauren Sanchez's involvement in its production, according to a report on Monday.

This year's Super Bowl ads are created to entertain and go down easy, as Stella Artois brings back Carrie Bradshaw and "The Dude" and the Backstreet Boys and Chance the Rapper remix the 1990s classic I Want It That Way for Doritos.

Female celebrities and themes of women's empowerment were also prevalent this year. Yes, during one of the most 'Merican events of the year, every USA automaker sat out actually broadcasting their expected red-white-and-blue celebrity-cameo truck commercials-only Chrysler even gave it a half-try, with almost a dozen ads it posted to the Internet instead of the TV.
