BTS may be performing at the 2019 Grammys in America.

With just a few days to go until the 61st Annual GRAMMY Awards, the show just got an extra shot of global star power, as the group has been added as presenters for Sunday's broadcast.

It is not yet known which award the K-pop heartthrobs will be present, but they are listed as one of the nominees in the Best Recording Package category for their album Love Yourself: Tear.

News of BTS' scheduled appearance quickly went viral, with the hashtag #BTSxGrammys trending on Twitter on Monday evening.

BTS is going to the Grammy Awards! They are up against St. Vincent's Masseduction, Mitski's Be the Cowboy, The Chairman's The Offering, and Foxhole's Well Kept Thing.

In less than five days V, Suga, J-Hope, Jungkook, RM, Jin, Jimin, could be hitting the red carpet for their first Grammy night.

Love Yourself: Tear, which produced hits like FAKE LOVE and Anpanman, cruised to the top of the Billboard 200 chart in May past year. It marks the first time a K-Pop album made the cut for any category from the prestigious award-giving body.

That means their achievement came in eligibility for the 2018 ceremony - putting them out of the running for the 2019 awards. Rapper Cardi B, pop diva Lady Gaga and folk-rock singer Brandi Carlile have nabbed key nominations.

Love Yourself: Tear's nomination in the Grammys serves as a breakthrough milestone in the K-Pop industry.
