Sheriff's officials in Barron County say they will reunite Closs with other family members on Thursday night. Investigators said Closs was quickly ruled out as a suspect.

A Facebook post from the Barron County Sheriff's Department says the investigation is not related to Jayme Closs, the teen missing from Barron County. The Douglas County Sheriff's Office confirmed on its website that Jayme was found in the town of Gordon at 4.43pm Thursday (local time), and that a suspect was taken into custody 11 minutes later. "Jayme has been found!", Kroeze posted.

Closs, 13, had been missing for months after her parents were murdered inside their home back in October.

We are planning a press briefing approximately 10 am tomorrow at the Sheriff's Department in Barron.

Authorities began to search for the teenager after deputies called to the Closs home in the city of Barron found her parents, James Closs, 56, and his wife, Denise, 46, dead. "I've always been a glass half-full kind of guy", Fitzgerald said at the time.

At a news conference, police said they had received about 400 tips from the public since the 13-year-old disappeared and an Amber Alert was issued for her.

"There was a lot of discouragement because this took quite a while to play out", Fladten said.

"Tonight, we actually got false news again this afternoon and I really had my hopes up then", Sue Allard said.

"They were just two peas in a pod", family friend Melissa Salmonson tells PEOPLE, describing the pair as "almost inseparable" and saying Denise "was pretty quiet and shy like Jayme - they were similar". "I thought today was going to be the day, and then I find out two hours later that she's found and I just can not believe this".

"I have a gut feeling she's (Jayme's) still alive".

The notification that Jayme had been found came just four hours after Fitzgerald had taken to Twitter to debunk a report that she had been found alive near Walworth County.
