Rumor: Nokia 6.2 with a punch-hole display & Snapdragon 632 coming soon

Nokia 8.1 Plus render

The Android Pie update to Nokia 8 Sirocco brings App Actions feature that displays the most relevant apps and in-app features for quicker navigation. Unlike Nokia's most recent devices which adopted the notch, though, this particular model will feature a display hole in the top-left corner. OnLeaks, together with 91Mobiles, leaked the handset by sharing renders and a 360-degree video. As phone bezels get smaller and smaller, the placement of the front-facing camera becomes an issue. Moving on to the back, expect a dual camera with Zeiss optics here. We're merely 10 days into 2019 and so far we've seen signs that Samsung, Huawei, Motorola, and Nokia are all all pursuing this style on their upcoming phones.

Per the images, the Nokia 8.1 Plus will have a rear glass panel bearing the Nokia logo and the Android One branding.

Despite the “Plus” designation, the phone is essentially the same size as the regular Nokia 8.1 – its screen measures 6.22”. This could be the same hole-punch display that was featured in recently-leaked Nokia 8.1 Plus renders.

Both of these devices are just rumors so far, and as always, the price will be a big determining factor in how well both phones are received. Although nothing is known about the innards of the phone right now, given the fact that it is tipped to have a physical fingerprint reader and a dual camera setup, it will most likely have mid-tier specifications that we see on the more affordable smartphones with highly improved specifications.
