Kentucky Police Officers post photos 'grieving' over loss of doughnut truck

The Lexington Police Department in Kentucky went viral for their response to a Krispy Kreme Doughnuts truck catching fire and losing all the goods inside

Police in Lexington, Kentucky have shared their tearful selfies after a donut truck caught fire and had its sweet, delicious cargo destroyed.

A few Kentucky cops went viral for mourning the loss of a truckload of doughnuts.

WKYT-TV reports no one was injured when the Krispy Kreme driver stopped after noticing smoke in the cab of his truck following a delivery in Morehead.

The Lexington Police Department tweeted pictures of a burned-out Krispy Kreme truck along with their devastated reactions.

"No words", the officers wrote, and their colleagues from across the nation - from Colorado to Chicago - were quick to respond with messages of support.

It's not clear what caused the accident, but the police department indicated there were no injuries in the accident.

"We feel your loss".

A North Carolina cop added his condolences.
