Ghana's Hudson-Odoi has been asking me about Germany - Rudiger

Hudson-Odoi 'has no plans' to sign new Chelsea deal

Marcos Alonso has queried why Callum Hudson-Odoi would want to go to Bayern Munich after seeing Chelsea receive an improved £35 million ($45m) bid for the teenage winger.

FC reports that the player is looking increasingly likely to join Bayern Munich in the near future.

The Spaniard said of an exciting club colleague: "He is a good player, but he is very young".

But the fact Sarri has included the teenager in just one Premier League squad all season suggests there may be an easier route to first-team football elsewhere.

Chelsea have been angered by the public nature of Bayern's pursuit, with sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic confirming on Wednesday that the German giants "absolutely want to sign" Hudson-Odoi this month. "It was just a general question from him to know, because he is still young".

The flying winger also teed up both of Alvaro Morata's goals in an FA Cup third round victory over Nottingham Forest last weekend.

Hudson-Odoi started Chelsea's 1-0 defeat to Tottenham in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday, in a move from Maurizio Sarri that was created to persuade the winger to stay at Stamford Bridge.

"Of course, he asked me about Germany", Rudiger told reporters at Wembley Stadium.

Hudson-Odoi's outing against Spurs was only his 12th senior professional appearance, making the proposed fee all the more remarkable, but Rudiger believes that his team-mate lives up to the hype, despite his inexperience. It is something he needs to decide for his future.

"We don't need to speak about him too much".

'It is [a compliment] and I don't think anyone would be surprised, ' he said. "I hope they all stay", he said. "He has all the tools to become a big player, but he has to work a lot".
