Game of Thrones Season 8 Premiere Date Revealed by HBO

Game of Thrones releases new season 8 teaser, official premiere date

HBO unveiled the first official teaser for the final season of the fantasy show based on the book series - A Song of Ice and Fire by George RR Martin.

The final season of Game of Thrones will have only six episodes - making it the shortest season so far.

Expect to see the saga to unfold across six episodes, each over an hour long.

The Stark children come together in the crypts beneath Winterfell in the new "Game of Thrones" final season teaser with the debut date finally being revealed...

Check it out below...

In the long teaser, we see the three siblings Jon Snow, Sansa Stark and Arya Stark trying to find their way through the crypts of Winterfell. But the good news is that, according to the makers of the Emmy Award-winning show, each of the episodes will be like an entire film on its own.

You'll get the chills when voices are heard from the three statues of Lyanna Stark, Catelyn Stark, and Ned Stark. Suddenly, Jon's candle blows out and an icy mist rolls into the crypt as Jon and Arya draw their swords.

The feather that Robert Baratheon put in Lyanna's statue in Season 1 and Sansa in Season 5, noticeably fell when Jon walked by. And although the flagship series is ending, the network has multiple projects set in the Game of Thrones universe now in development.

But when it comes to Jon's statue, fans are scratching their heads. Will the Stark clan completely perish at the hands of the White Walkers? April 14th is the date you'll want to circle on your calendars.
