Everton among several clubs interested in signing Chelsea's Michy Batshuayi

After becoming a maligned figure last season, the striker was loaned to Borussia Dortmund in January where he scored nine goals in 14 appearances.

Though it appears he is unlikely to return to Chelsea for the second half of the season, he may join a Premier League side with both West Ham and Crystal Palace interested in a move.

Michy Batshuayi is set to return to Chelsea - but it doesn't look as though he'll be sticking around at Stamford Bridge.

Batshuayi signed for Chelsea from Marseille for £33million back in 2016 but failed to nail down a consistent spot in the first team.

The Belgian worldwide had a fairly unsuccessful spell with the La Liga side, scoring just three goals from 23 appearances in all competitions.

Alemany said via the Telegraph: "Batshuayi's situation is very clear".

"We are negotiating with several clubs an exit for Batshuayi", Alemany was quoted by Metro UK as saying telling reporters.

Valencia sporting director Mateu Alemany confirmed Batshuayi would be heading back to Stamford Bridge at a press conference on Thursday and said there is plenty of interest in the Belgian global.

And Valencia have now confirmed that they have told the striker that he has no future at the club.

'We are expecting an exit in the next few hours or days'. At 25-years-old, Batshuayi is still young and has plenty of quality. Marco Silva's need for a striker is well documented. "I've played with him and I know what he could do".
