Cowboys Owner Jones Reportedly Buys $250M Yacht

Jerry Jones

Life's good when you're the owner of America's Team, which checked in as the world's most valuable sports franchise in 2018 at an estimated $4.8 billion, according to Forbes. It's the AT&T Stadium of super yachts and was delivered by Dutch shipyard Oceanco to the USA billionaire just before the holiday season on December 20. No, but who cares?

According to the yacht's manufacturer, Oceanco, the vessel features a garage for smaller boats or jet skis, a full gym and a spa complete with a sauna and massage room.

The yacht was constructed by Dutch company Oceanco and engineered by Lateral Naval Architects. Bravo Eugenia is capable of a top speed of 17.5 knots while powered by a hybrid propulsion system.

Websites that cover the yachting industry report that Jones took delivery of a almost 360-foot, Dutch-built yacht on December 20 somewhere in Scandinavia.

The state-of-the-art yacht has to have a name, and the 76-year-old Jones made sure to please his significant other before the credit card bill came in the mail.

The new yacht is called "Bravo Eugenia", which is reportedly named after his wife, Gene.

The couple took the Bravo Eugenia out on a Christmas cruise in Scandinavia.

You read that correctly.

Per Yachtharbour.com: It cost $250 million (as many folks pointed out, that's $100 million more than the price he paid for the Cowboys).

Jerry Jones has always been known as one of the louder National Football League owners.
