Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri says Bayern Munich have not respected the club with their pursuit of Callum H

"So they didn't respect our club, I think", Sarri told reporters on Friday.

Joining us on our coverage of both Chelsea v Newcastle and Premier League Tonight this weekend is Joe Cole, who has just started his new job with the Blues.

Dion Dublin believes that Chelsea FC should make signing Callum Wilson from Bournemouth their top priority in the January transfer window.

The Times say Chelsea want to agree a fee he can be re-signed for but that the German club are reluctant to accept the clause.

"As you know very well I am not involved in the market. In my opinion, we need two players", he said.

The 18-year-old forward was promoted to the Blues senior team in 2017 under former boss Antonio Conte but has only made three topflight appearances for the club since then.

That appears to have been the period in which he lost hope in Sarri's commitment to develop him.

A number of United Kingdom newspapers have picked up on a story by Spanish publication Sport suggesting that Barcelona are interested in a loan deal for the Chelsea striker, who has also been linked with the likes of Sevilla and Atletico Madrid.

Fulham are among the clubs to have been linked with the Belgian striker.

"Of course, if Morata will go to another club we need a replacement, it's normal", Sarri said.

"At the moment Morata is here, so I think he has to think only to play".

But I think what's changed is our opinion of young English players.

Coach Maurizio Sarri is a fan of Willian, and although he thinks he can improve - he says he does not want to lose him.

"He is really very important".

The only way to really find out if Hudson-Odoi is good enough, which I think he is, is for Sarri to give him a run in the team but it doesn't look like that's going to happen.

So Pulisic coming in and Hudson-Odoi leaving is kind of in keeping with what they have always done and it's clearly worked for them.

'He has done that recently and he has played, and done very well in the last couple of games.
