Speaker Ryan Announces When George Bush Will Lie in State

Trump's disclosure was among a list of funeral plans that emerged Saturday as the nation prepared to bid a final farewell to Bush, the nation's 41st president, who died Friday night at age 94.

Flags statewide have been ordered to half-staff in honor of former President George H W Bush, who passed away late Friday evening. He was a great man with great character, regardless of politics.

Michael Pallamary was an active politician during the time Bush was president.

Bush 41's last words to his eldest son, former President George W. Bush were, "I love you, too".

The White House said a state funeral would be held on Wednesday at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC.

Following their arrival, "Bush's remains will lie in state in the Rotunda of the U.S. Capitol" from Monday at 7:30 p.m. until Wednesday at 8:45 a.m., "with a guard of honor in attendance", officials said.

The former president will also lie in repose at St. Martin's Episcopal Church in Houston, where Bush lived, from 7:45 p.m. ET Wednesday until 7 a.m. ET Thursday.

Bush will be buried next to his wife and former first lady Barbara Bush, who died in April, and his daughter Pauline Robinson "Robin" Bush, who died in 1953 at just 3 years old. He himself said public service is a noble calling. Bush will be laid to rest Thursday on the grounds of the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum at Texas A-and-M University, according to a press release from the university.
