Real Madrid ready to offer Marco Asensio for Eden Hazard

Hazard: Real Madrid reportedly agree terms with Chelsea man

Recent reports suggest that Chelsea have offered to make Hazard the highest-paid player in the club's history in a bid to persuade him to spurn an exit and remain at Stamford Bridge beyond 2020.

Having lost Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus last summer, Madrid have been crying out for someone to take the former number seven's mantel, having seen both Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale become inconsistent.

However, Chelsea will not let Hazard go easily.

That seems a lot for a player who will be in the final year of his contract this summer, with Madrid not keen on paying that much for a player they could sign for free just a year later, according to AS.

Madrid could also seek to include Mateo Kovacic in the deal.

Spanish worldwide Cesar Azpilicueta, one of the longest-serving players at Chelsea, signed a new four-year contract on Tuesday.

However, Hazard knows that if the youngster keeps working hard he can nail down a place in the Chelsea side.

Previously, Legit.ng had reported how Chelsea star Eden Hazard reportedly emerged as a summer transfer target for Spanish champions Barcelona who are said to be ready for a deal to sign the Belgium global.

Radio station Onda Madrid, cited by AS, say that Los Blancos are now ready to offer Hazard his dream move, and they have already agreed terms with the player. I think the club is available to sign a new contract immediately, but it's up to him if he wants to renew or not.

I want Eden here, of course. Sarri told the press before the Blues 2-1 defeat away to Wolves yesterday.
