Astrophysicist, TV host Neil deGrasse Tyson has been accused of sexual misconduct by two more women, reports Deadline.

A year ago a musician claimed that deGrasse Tyson raped her when they were both graduate students.

"We have only just become aware of the recent allegations regarding Neil deGrasse Tyson", Fox Broadcasting and National Geographic said.

Mashable has reached out to Tyson's representatives for comment.

According to the statement, two women have come forward with their separate instances of alleged misconduct. In a report published Thursday, Dr. Katelyn Allers, an associate professor at Bucknell University, recalled a 2009 meeting with Tyson, who she said felt her up while searching for Pluto on her tattoo.

While their interaction may have not been an assault, Allers said it was a clear sign that Tyson was capable of "creepy behavior", the website reported. Another woman, Ashley Watson, said that she quit her job after Tyson's sexual advances. "I didn't want to cause a fuss", she told The Post. She recalls that he had taken off his shoes and was wearing a tank top. Unfortunately, the night only got more awkward as Tyson, who is married, reportedly put on romantic music and replayed the most graphic parts... The producer asked her whether she wanted to file a complaint, she said, but Watson declined. He reportedly mentioned how hard it had been for him to be away from home for several months. 'I'm the accused, so why believe anything I say?' he also stated.

Both networks claim to be taking the allegations "very seriously". She told me she was at his apartment when he offered her water, and the next thing she remembered was waking up to an assault.

She recalled blacking out after Tyson gave her a drink and waking up naked on his bed. She went on to do a PhD in astronomy at the University of Texas in Austin. This is not the first time the popular science evangelist has been accused of sexual misconduct. He has yet to publicly address the matter.

Watson provided The Post with a text describing the incident she sent to a friend several days later. Here's the phone interview with her. So, at a minimum, she's been making this allegation for a number of years. You can listen and make your own judgment about her credibility.
