JuJu says he'll play vs. Saints

The Saints and Steelers only square up with each other every four years due to National Football League scheduling rules (Thomas and the Saints play in the NFC, while Brown's Steelers patrol the AFC), so they made sure to make the most of the occasion.

While Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan stressed that New Orleans doesn't fear going on the road in the playoffs, he readily acknowledged the advantages of staying in the Superdome.

In fact, no Super Bowl participant has won a single road playoff game since the 2012 Baltimore Ravens won at Denver and New England en route to their title-winning tilt with San Francisco in New Orleans.

The Steelers now know what they will need to do to have a chance at the playoffs this season. "Take a week, or two (off) if we clinch it this week".

"Just gotta step up and fill the role", Washington said. The team is still sitting atop their division though but still have the Saints to play. The officiating against the Steelers' defense was abysmal and directly resulted in points for New Orleans.

With running back James Conner once more out for the Steelers and a postseason berth still to be had, Pittsburgh will once again turn to rookie Jaylen Samuels to likely carry the bulk of the backfield load.

Ben Roethlisberger passed for 380 yards and three touchdowns for the Steelers (8-6-1), connecting 14 times with Antonio Brown for 185 yards and two touchdowns.
