Trump clashes with 'rude, awful person' Jim Acosta of CNN

Donald Trump Rips Into CNN's Jim Acosta: 'You Are A Rude, Terrible Person'

WOW - Trump unloads on Jim Acosta, says "CNN should be ashamed of themselves having you working for them".

It got hot nearly immediately.

Trump got defensive when discussing the controversial ad he recently ran against the caravan, explaining the people in it were "not actors".

Trump moved on to another reporter, but Acosta stood up again and began asking Trump another question. That further infuriated the President. "You are a rude, awful person". You and I disagree on this, ' Trump said.

When Acosta tried to ask another question, Trump said forcefully, "That's enough".

He and Mrs. Sanders, the White House press secretary, often clash with Mr. Acosta. But Trump doubled down on his message: "When you report fake news, which CNN does a lot, you are the enemy of the people".

Acosta asked Trump about his rhetoric concerning the illegal alien horde that's approaching or southern border. "You shouldn't treat people that way", he said, referring to his spokeswoman, who frequently spars with reporters during press briefings. "You rudely interrupted him".

"Honestly? I think you should let me run the country, you run CNN". "You aren't the best".

Acosta then attempted to ask a follow-up question, only to be told by the president, "That's enough". "You shouldn't be working for CNN".

'The way you treat Sarah Huckabee is terrible, ' he said.

"In Jim's defense, I've traveled with him, he's a hard-working, diligent reporter", Alexander told the president.

'That's enough, ' Trump said pointing at Acosta, who kept trying to talk.

Trump shot back: "Well, I'm not a big fan of yours either, to be honest".

"Very hostile. Such a hostile media".

"I had one other question if I may ask on the Russian Federation investigation", Acosta pleaded. "It's so sad", Trump said.
