My hair is turning white due to Manchester United’s performances - Jose Mourinho

Allegri Barcelona are Champions League favourites not Juventus

Juventus can now turn their attentions to the Champions League and a meeting with Manchester United on Wednesday.

Jose Mourinho has hailed Ander Herrera's introduction as "fundamental" in securing a late comeback win for Manchester United at Bournemouth on Saturday. "We know we're going into a very tough week now but we can come out with some good results and it can be seen as a good month".

"We have fantastic character and the heart that any result, the game is not over and we go until the end". It was a slow start from United and in the second half things needed to be changed in order for United to improve. "So I think he was really good for us".

But Mourinho claimed his side's open back line is a symptom of a more aggressive style of play compared to the tactics he used in last term's second-placed Premier League finish. My assistants were saying this is the best warm-up of the season.

'Juve have shown they don't concede many goals and hopefully we can get on the front foot. And I do not just look to my defenders, as a team we did not start pressing up, the work we did during the week. In theory, you say "Come on, 1-1, you bring Herrera".

"All credit to them for sticking in the game during that first period because it couldn't have been easy with the way we played and how hard it was to defend our attacking players".

"When there are free kicks from far away, Ronaldo can kick them but we've decided that Dybala and Pjanic will take the set pieces close to the area".

Manchester United are willing to accept a small fee for Ander Herrera, according to the Sun. "We created lots of chances, we deserved to score before the minute 90-something", Mourinho added.

Other opportunities fell for the likes of David Brooks, Adam Smith and Ryan Fraser, as the Dorset outfit had Jose Mourinho's team of big hitters reeling from the get-go.

"We were really poor, defensively bad".

They are now seventh, four points behind fourth-place Tottenham and finally have a positive goal difference. "We don't know - a muscle problem - and we have to wait a little bit". I love the song, "attack, attack, attack" but you need to have stability when you lose the ball. "As players you need to have thick skin and we need to have belief that you will have bad days but it's about making sure you have more good days than bad".
