Hitman 2 - Gameplay Launch Trailer

Hitman 2

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and IO Interactive today released the Official HITMAN 2 Gameplay Launch Trailer, celebrating the upcoming November 13 release of the ultimate stealth-action video game. It's about feeling the tension of briskly walking away from a bad situation, hoping you can lose the suspicious guards.

Learn the key differences between the Hitman 2 Standard, Silver, Gold, and Collector's Editions. It's a cerebral game, a sandbox that can be bloodless or chaotic depending on who's pulling 47's strings.

No matter when exactly you start playing Hitman 2, you'll find a greatly expanded sequel waiting for you. From its plot to its locations, Hitman 2 is an investigation of both 47's uniqueness and the way in which he's just another face in the crowd.

Digital pre-order customers are also unable to pre-load Hitman 2 ahead of its November 9 release date.

IO Interactive completely revamped the progression system in Hitman 2, and while it might be functionally the same, the way that you earn experience for everything you do, from discovering the areas on a map to completing mission stories to silently taking out everyone you come in contact with, is somehow far more satisfying. "Riley MacLeod [Full review] Eurogamer - No score" Hitman 2 is not the landmark the last game was, and given that it nearly didn't happen at all, with IO wresting back the rights from Square Enix at the eleventh hour, that's only to be expected. This time around, there's a much larger focus on the levels themselves, and they're bigger and better than the ones we got in the first game. If you can think up a creative way to do things, the game will probably let you do your own thing. "And that's really all you need from Hitman 2".

What's not shown in this trailer are the results to the Unique Object Fan Vote that the developers put on for the first Elusive Target mission. "As for now, I will leave you to prepare". Hitman was doing something that no other game was even attempting: Setting players loose in intricately designed sandboxes with an unlimited number of ways to accomplish their goal and rewarding creativity.

The Hitman 2 Collector's Edition includes all of the Gold level bonuses.
