Fallout 76 launches a day early for some players

Fallout 76 - is your broadband ready?

As seen in the tweet below from the official Bethesda Game Studios Twitter account, the publisher and developer made a decision to pen a letter to Fallout 76 fans that not only thanks those who worked on the game and the fans ready to play it, but also promises new Vaults, Faction-based PvP, character respecing, and more is set for the future.

Bethesda lets players know you are safe to uninstall the beta on Xbox One and PS4 but you will need to keep it installed if you're on PC.

Looks like Reclamation Day started a little early!

Fallout 76 isn't the sort of game you would expect from Bethesda Game Studios but the developers hope to keep the servers populated for years to come.

The early Fallout 76 launch on PC has now been verified by a number of media outlets and trusted sources; confirming that the game has indeed gone live early. With a final install size of 51 gigabytes, only 0.0048% of the game is actually on the disc you buy.

But hey, it's hard to argue with $50 for a AAA release at launch.

We recently put together our thoughts in our Fallout 76 B.E.T.A. impressions piece, and we praised the game's world design while finding some frustration in its multiplayer implementation. You get exclusive Tricentennial Power Armor customisation options for several different armour models, as well as Tricentennial weapon customisation for the pistol, hatchet and laser rifle.

Fallout 76 Power Armor Edition This physical-only version comes with all of the above, a steelbook, 24 Fallout figurines, a glow-in-the-dark map and a wearable helmet.
