Ariana Grande cries, trips during performance on ‘Ellen’

Ariana Grande God Is a Woman

Ariana Grande stumbled during her first ever performance of her new single, "Thank U, Next" on 'The Ellen Degeneres Show, ' but she didn't seem too bothered by the slip-up!

With her newest song, the pop singer revisits her past romances with rapper Big Sean, dancer Ricky Alvarez, comedian Pete Davidson and rapper Mac Miller (who sadly passed away in September from a drug overdose), thanking each them for their role in helping her become the woman she is today.

Grande chose to channel the classic musical number from "The First Wives Club", wearing bridal white alongside her two backup singers to resemble the film's stars Bette Midler, Goldie Hawn and Dianne Keaton.

Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, the singer, 25, told her fans: "remember when i was like hey i have no tears left to cry and the universe was like HAAAAAAAAA b***h u thought" (sic).

Apparently Pete Davidson's statement on their split on Saturday Night Live didn't blindside Ariana Grande because she knew he would bring it up.

The ladies danced around to the tune on the stage, which was set up to look like a wedding reception.

She helped organize the One Love Manchester concert past year, raising more than US$23 million for victims of the Manchester bombing.

Naturally, Grande recovered like the professional she is, righting herself while letting out a quick "Oh my God" before returning to the song, though she did let out another laugh before reaching the track's second chorus. Holding hands with my mama. But, clearly not anxious about having a very human, silly moment during a performance, since she carried on singing and couldn't stop from laughing as she sang. "We support you", host Ellen DeGeneres said after the song.

What we love most about this video is that Ariana could have totally redone the whole thing, but chose not to.
