Apple’s T2 Chip In MacBook Has A Never Seen Before Security Feature

The Wrap – November 2, 2018

There's a fingerprint scanner for added security - Apple's Touch ID feature and the new T2 security chip.

Apple executives unveiled the new iPad Pro models in two screen sizes - 11-inch and 12.9-inch on Tuesday 30 October in NY and revealed the new iPad Pro makeover, which would include some of the iPhone features. At the event, Apple unveiled its latest MacBook Air, iPad Pro along with its variants, and the new Mac mini.

It is also only slightly below the 2.6GHz Core i7 version, which scores 5,053.

iPad Pro 2018 comes in two different variants.

One of the major changes is the end of Touch ID and with this Apple has finally migrated to Face ID as the primary method of biometric authentication on its devices.

This years tablet iteration saw Apple debuting the A12X Bionic chip, a step above the A12 inside the iPhone XS, and is promised to be 50pc faster than its predecessor.

The new iPad Pro Apple replaced similar to the new iPhones - the fingerprint scanner through the face recognition FaceID.

Apple's latest MacBook Air and 2018 MacBook Pros physically disconnect their own microphones when you close the lid, preventing eavesdropping hackers from listening in to conversations when you think the computer is in sleep mode with the lid closed.

Apple's new iPad Pros pack more screen into sleeker builds. It also works when Apple's iPad keyboard is attached, Sanho said. What is notable is that it has revised the prices of the other products in India. The company has announced the launch of the new MacBook Air and Mac Mini desktop in India and will be available for sale as early as November 7.

The 11-inch iPad Pro comes in at $799, while the 12.9-inch one hits $999. The new iPad features a seven-core GPU, which doubles the performance of the previous models.

We all know that the iPad Pro (the 12.9-inch line) costs about $1.899 - that, if you want 1TB worth of storage and LTE. Especially great for designers, Adobe Photoshop CC will be coming to iPad in 2019.

Usually with a new iPad there's one new feature that stands out, but this time around there are several such features, as Apple overhauls its most powerful (and most expensive) tablet. The Macbook Air has the 8th generation Intel Core i5 processor, Intel UHD Graphics and 2133 MHz system memory that can be scaled up to 16GB.
