Shawn Michaels Is Coming Out Of Retirement At WWE's Next PPV

WWE will be holding qualifiying matches on Raw and SmackDown leading up to the event.

Michaels officially revealed his plans on Raw last night when he and long time friend Triple H reunited.

The return will mark Michaels' first match since he lost his retirement match to Undertaker at WrestleMania 26.

But the best match of Angle's second WWE run took place at WrestleMania 34 where he teamed up with fellow Olympian Rousey and beat McMahon as well as Triple H in a Mixed Tag Team Match.

WWE also announced earlier in the night that John Cena will be competing in the tournament.

Michaels helped Triple H defeat The Undertaker in front of over 50,000 fans at the MCG, before Undertaker and Kane destroyed the pair after the match.

Baron Corbin, who has been the acting general manager of Raw in Angle's absence, booked an worldwide battle royal featuring competitors such as the "Swedish Chef" and a mysterious masked man in a full gold bodysuit known as the "Conquistador".

With both Shawn Michaels and Kane entering the battle and taking full advantage of the lenient stipulation, the WWE Universe bore witness as four of the most iconic Superstars of all time made history Down Under in an incredible main event.
