Odell Beckham Jr. storms off the field during first half

Giants Sterling Shepard on sideline outburst That’s not

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the NFL's owners meetings in NY on Tuesday, Mara made it clear he was unimpressed by Beckham's antics.

In a wide-ranging interview with ESPN's Josina Anderson that aired before Week 5, Beckham said the Giants needed to "play with some heart" and didn't rule out the idea of Eli Manning holding back Big Blue's passing attack.

"I think enough people have spoken to him", Mara said, via Newsday.

According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, Giants players have "grown exceedingly frustrated" with Manning this season and wonder if he is physically capable of getting the job done anymore. Past year the team finished 3-13.

That meeting happened shortly after a video went viral showing Beckham in bed with an aspiring French model who had a credit card and a plate with lines of a white substance on it. Mara also previously expressed his frustration about Beckham's dog-peeing touchdown celebration last season. "I can't stand up here and make any excuses about that". "Like I said, I feel like he's not going to get out the pocket. I'm suffering just as much as our fans are, probably more".

Meanwhile, the Giants have signed former Denver Broncos receiver Bennie Fowler and placed linebacker Ray-Ray Armstrong (concussion) and wide receiver Cody Latimer (hamstring) on injured reserve.

Coming off a Thursday night loss against the division rival Philadelphia Eagles, the Giants will be in primetime once again in Week 7 as they head to Atlanta for a Monday night matchup against the 2-4 Falcons.
