Kate Middleton and Prince William Wow at Mental Health Summit Appearance

Hope Walk organiser Michelle Cogger says there's plenty of support out there for people suffering from mental illness

Kate, mother to Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, looked lovely in the long dress which she wore with a fashionable belt and with her long, dark hair down, over her shoulders.

It's the third royal event for the Duchess in a matter of days after she and her husband Prince William attended the Global Ministerial Mental Health Summit in London on Tuesday.

The summit sees political figures, academics and policy-makers from around the world meet to discuss issues surrounding the stigma of mental health and how to better address them. "This is a great, great compliment", Kate told Vargas of his painting.

During her maternity leave, Kate made a handful of public appearances largely for family events like brother-in-law Prince Harry's wedding to Meghan Markle and to mark the annual "Trooping the Colour" at Buckingham Palace.

They were met at London's County Hall by Health Secretary Matt Hancock.

Middleton attended her first solo royal engagement since her son's birth last week, when she visited the Paddington Recreation Ground in Ewhurst, England to spend time with local school children. The initiative was started by Dixon Chibanda and teaches the women to become lay health workers.

In the lead-up to hosting a Marathon for Mental Health in the United Kingdom in 2017, Prince Harry revealed he'd sought counselling in his early 20's after two years of what he labelled "total chaos" following the death of his mother, Princess Diana.
