Apple gears up for new Macs and iPad Pros on October 30

Apple pens date for expected Mac updates

Apple's October 30 event will focus on numerous products which were not upgraded at its big Gather Round iPhone XS launch event. "Apple's invite features the tagline 'There's more in the making", and each invite features different artwork of the company's logo. There are also rumours which suggest that Apple will update its Mac Mini as well. Check them out here. Many expect iPad Pro models with Face ID and thinner bezels, a possible refresh to the MacBook Air and Mac mini.

The next official Apple event will be held on October 30th at the Howard Gilman Opera House in NY. No matter what is actually announced, Apple will once again be live-streaming the event for those of you who are not able to be present. Of course, the event invite itself doesn't include any specific details as to what to expect for the event on October 30, but the rumor mill has that covered.

Two new versions of the iPad Pro are expected to be launched.

It looks like Apple isn't anywhere near done with its product lineup for this year.

Japanese technology news website Macotakara spoke to a range of accessory makers at the Global Sources Mobile Electronics trade show in Hong Kong, and was told the iPad Pro 2018 would have a USB-C port rather than a Lightning port.

Improved Retina display, new keyboard and faster processor could feature along with a refreshed design.

The new iPad Pro most probably will keep the 10.5-inch and 12.9-inch screen sizes as the predecessor, but everything else will undergo changes.

There have been rumblings that Apple was building up to another event in the latter part of the year, focusing this time around on new iPad Pro models and maybe even new Mac hardware as well.

The site also says that the companies were showing off a photo of the 2018 iPad Pro dimensions that was first shared on Slashleaks last week. The wild card could be AirPods 2, with its wireless charging case?
