Antonio Brown almost killed toddler tossing furniture off balcony: lawsuit

Antonio Brown being sued for alleged furniture throwing incident

It's becoming clear why Antonio Brown freaked out and threw furniture off his 14th story balcony - the National Football League superstar had told police someone jacked $80,000 cash and a gun from his apartment!

All three denied taking anything from the apartment.

TMZ is reporting that Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown is being sued. Police interviewed the women, who said they had been instructed to clean the apartment by one of Brown's representatives.

Cops say Brown was not arrested for the incident - but the complex told them they would initiate eviction proceedings to kick him out.

Police were called on April 24, following the balcony incident.

Security and police were called to the scene and, when officers arrived, Brown allegedly was "extremely agitated, acting aggressively, and yelling at security personnel", according to the lawsuit.

Sternberg's suit alleges that security personnel determined that Brown, in a fit of rage, threw two large vases, estimated to be more than 3 feet tall, a large ottoman and other pieces of furniture off the balcony over the course of several minutes, some of the items landing poolside within a foot or two of the man and his grandson. The victim in one of the lawsuits claims a 22-month-old child was almost hit by an item thrown from the balcony.

But, when cops showed up to his apartment, Brown said, "I found the car" and closed the door in their faces.

Sternberg is suing Brown on behalf of his son, Amnon Sternberg, who is named as the plaintiff in the lawsuit.

Brown also caused extensive damage to his own unit at the apartment complex "in a fit of rage", the lawsuit alleges.

We reached out to Brown's agent for comment - but haven't heard back. A message seeking comment from the Steelers was also not returned early Tuesday.
