Juventus will reportedly be investigated for breaching Financial Fair Play regulations after signing Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid for £99m. Inside Kiev's Olympic Stadium, Real Madrid's party was interrupted by a series of cryptic declarations from the men who had just won the tournament for a third straight time.

"I always try to put a bit of wobble on the ball", he points out.

Bale said he had chose to attempt the overhead after realising that Liverpool defenders would soon crowd him out.

"You try to make it more hard because if it doesn't go in the corner I always give them a problem if it's right down their throat". If you don't try things, things never happen.

"I don't know how it wasn't on that list!"

However, the Portugal worldwide turned things around when he scored a brace in his side's 3-0 win over Sassuolo at the weekend.

The final in June will take place at the Wanda Metropolitano, the home of Real's city rivals Atletico.

"Obviously it's going to be a little different from having such a big player there", he said. Yes, I suppose it's not quite as bad as it looked, but I suppose he should save it'.

Roma go into the game with just one Serie A win from their four league games.

"I think that, contrary to what everybody thinks, Madrid is more of a team without Cristiano", he told a Spanish sports daily.

"We have to defend the title and it's always a bit more motivation when the final is in Madrid, the home of an opponent like Atletico", the defender said.

"I really enjoyed playing with him because he made me better on the pitch and he's a great guy off it, too".
