If we believe a previous report, Google will eventually unveil the Pixel 3 XL alongside the smaller and cheaper Pixel 3. Traces were left after removing the phone from its case for its photo-op.

Anonymous Alligator also promptly returned the phone to its rightful owner, but that was not before he snapped a few images of the phone.

Also, it is further revealed that the Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL are expected to come with a "WPC Charging Mode".

Given the way things are going we imagine we'll get plenty more looks at the phone before then. And sure, nearly all leaks were pretty exhaustive, leaving very few secrets for Google to reveal during official announcements.

On the smartphone there is a transparent protective cover, but this gadget is certainly similar to the device Pixel 3 XL, which had previously been seen in spy photos. It's expected to pack a huge 6.71-inch AMOLED display of 1440x2960px resolution, a notch housing an 8MP selfie camera and a dedicated face scanner, a Snapdragon 845 chipset with 4GB of RAM and a 3,430mAh battery. The FCC certification of the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL has not revealed the hardware and software features of the devices, however, it surely has given some reasonable insights on both the devices.

That being said, the latest leak is for Google's upcoming Pixel 3 headset.

It's worth noting that the device pictured is a pre-production model.

As for a release date, we expect the next generation Pixel phone to be on the shelves by the end of October after Google holds a special event to announce it on October 4. That's right. Someone from Google, who was issued a prototype unit ahead of the device's launch ended up literally dropping the phone in a ride-hailing service's vehicle.
