Overview Trailer - Nintendo Switch

Nintendo is rolling out its Switch Online service next week

Switch Online is the Nintendo's unimaginatively-named subscription-based online service.

One is a pair of Nintendo Entertainment System Controllers that will work with the Nintendo Switch's enhanced NES games.

Nintendo has announced their Switch Online memberships will launch in Canada, the US and beyond on September 18, 2018. You can check out some images of the controllers in the gallery below.

UPDATE: Nintendo's online page has confirmed the first 20 games for the NES: Soccer, Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, Ghosts 'n Goblins, Excitebike, Tennis, Balloon Fight, Super Mario Bros. As you can see from the image, the bundle will include two NES Controllers that will be rechargeable, similar to the standard Switch controllers. "It will also be possible to play these games offline".

By ensuring that your Nintendo Account is linked to the correct user profile, you will be able to appropriately manage your save data, Nintendo Switch Online membership, and Nintendo eShop content.”.

It'll be free for the first week but after that it'll cost £3.49 a month, £6.99 for three months, or £17.99 for a year.

Nintendo Switch Online has been a long time coming.

While Switch Online will rid of the ability to play online multiplayer games for free, Nintendo is assuring users that not all online features will require a subscription from September.
