Luiz: I'm enjoying Sarri's philosophy

Luiz has found himself back in the Chelsea first-team under Sarri

Mario Gotze is excited to watch the battle between two of his former bosses as Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp go toe-to-toe for the Premier League title this season.

Sarri's positive outlook - and not just in terms of his coaching - have helped to rejuvenate the Blues career of a player who was so pivotal in the title triumph of 2016-17.

"But the Premier League is very competitive, other teams have a lot of good players and it will not be easy".

"First of all he's a great person, great as a human", Luiz said in an interview with Chelsea's official magazine.

'We have a new coach with new tactics, new philosophy, new everything to be honest, ' Fabregas said. He wants to play with the ball, he wants to play with intensity, to work on the details and to give us all the information he can about the next game and the opponent.

"Every week he tries to make the best plan possible for the exact game and this is great because is working in the best way for the team, for the collective".

Luiz will be aiming to build on the clean sheet that Chelsea managed to keep against Bournemouth as they prepare for more challenges in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had earlier reported that Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has waxed lyrical over David Luiz - insisting the Brazilian has a "big future" at Stamford Bridge.

While dethroning champions Manchester City might be a tough ask, Makelele - a two-time Premier League victor with the Blues - is expecting big things from Sarri.

"I think he has the capacity to make history for Chelsea again".

And with no Champions League football to contend with this season, Sarri can possibly put all of his eggs into the Premier League basket.

Chelsea FC will be looking to break back into the top four at the very least this season after they finished in fifth place in the Premier League table last season under Antonio Conte. To close that gap in only one season is very hard.
