Leonard Fournette likely to play this week as Jags face the Pats

The team plans on testing Fournette's hamstring on Friday.

"I'm going to go out there and do whatever the coach asks me to do", Ramsey said. Their 0-8 record includes a few tight games, several lopsided losses and, most recently, a come-from-behind gut punch that kept Jacksonville from the Super Bowl.

Well, the Patriots used those words in their hype video for Sunday's game, which should be a dandy.

The Jacksonville Jaguars running back also is hopeful he will be able to play against the New England Patriots on Sunday. This weekend once again, it will be the defense on display facing Tom Brady and company.

"Jacksonville has never beaten him?" Obviously, there's something out there that he saw on film and stuff that I can probably get better at. While T.J. Yeldon is a competent runner, the drop-off between Fournette and Yeldon would be enough to give Bill Belichick and the Patriots a big game planning advantage on a Blake Bortles-led Jaguars offense. "The guy just always comes up and makes plays". "We've got to do a good job of taking care of the ball and trying to create some positive plays". We'll see. It's a game-time decision. For the Patriots, it's a chance to clearly establish themselves as the best team in the conference.

The win over the New York Giants last Sunday got the season underway. They allowed 156 yards on kickoffs, a number way higher than special teams coach Joe Judge wants to see.

The Patriots had three fumbles (two lost) in their opener, and Gronkowski was responsible for one of them. "But I mean I just still think, like you said, they put those corners on those wide receivers outside and then they put everybody else on Gronkowski and then Brady's going to hit those backs like you said". Gipson had Gronkowski, who had lined up next to the right tackle, one-on-one, but he slipped just before the ball arrived. But Grant's speed causes all kinds of problems if you get him out in space or provide him any kind of running lane, so it's imperative to get him on the field.
