It looks like Emilia Clarke can't accept the fact that Game of Thrones is about to end-like the rest of us who religiously follow the books and series.

On Wednesday, the actress debuted some new ink - a tribute to Khaleesi's three dragons: Drogon, Rhaegal, and Viserion.

Emilia pulled a wild face at Dr Woo's famous tattoo studio in Los Angeles and joked that she'd "only passed out once" in the artist's chair.

Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen on Thrones, showed off her new body art via Instagram. Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) got the words "No One" tattooed on the back of her neck...

The Mother of Dragons is making her love permanent! Clarke confirmed she was planning to get inked, pointing at her wrist and saying, "I'm going to get a dragon right here kind of flying away". Clarke has spent the last seven years mothering her on-screen dragons, but recently, the show wrapped production forever. So I think that's cool.

She later shut down speculation that her tattoo proves that the Stark family survive season eight, explaining to Digital Spy: "Game of Thrones is all about theories".
