Assassin's Creed Odyssey DLC Includes Assassin's Creed III Remastered

Assassin's Creed Odyssey Season Pass Includes Assassin's Creed III Remastered

Beyond the paid season pass, all Assassin's Creed Odyssey players can look forward to free post-launch content updates. Players will be able to choose whether they play each episode as it appears, or to wait and experience the story all at once upon the release of the final episode. The first of these - "Legacy of the First Blade" - will arrive in December 2018, introducing the first assassin to wield the hidden blade and revealing more backstory on the Assassin's Order.

The Season Pass is included in the Assassin's Creed Odyssey Gold, Ultimate, Spartan and Pantheon Editions and is also available for purchase separately for $39.99.

There's a meaty collection of goodies in Odyssey's season pass - as there should be, for $US40 ($56) - which includes two big DLC packs that encompass three episodes each, with new episodes releasing every six weeks. Then in Spring 2019, players will get to visit Atlantis in another episodic story arc. In a saga filled with twists and turns, players will get even closer to Greek mythology and the First Civilization. Both games come with higher resolution textures, a new graphics engine and support for 4K and HDR.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey is coming to Nintendo Switch - but only in Japan.

Assassin's Creed III Remastered: Includes all DLC. They haven't disclosed the full list of intended improvements, but considering that this is a remaster and not a remake, it's likely that this new version of the title won't feature any major changes to the base game.

Discovery Tour: This educational tool will let players explore the game world in a conflict-free environment and learn more about Ancient Greece's monuments, culture, and history.

Weekly and daily "contracts" will be handed out, and players will have to track down an epic mercenary or ship to defeat.

Future Updates: These updates will include monstrous and mythical creatures to battle, a New Game Plus mode presenting new challenges and the ability to see how different choices affect players' stories and many more.

The latest in the Assassin's Creed line drops for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC players on October 5th.
