Trump blasts Omarosa as 'lowlife' after reports on new tell-all book

Omarosa Manigault then-director of communications for the White House Office of Public Liaison center speaks in the East Room of the White House in Washington before the start of President Donald Trump's

She says that Trump used racial slurs like the "N-word" during tapings of his reality show The Apprentice and that there are tapes of him saying it.

This was despite objections from White House chief usher, Angella Reid, who served under President Obama and was the first black woman to hold the post.

"Lowlife, she's a lowlife", Trump responded before exiting a platform where he had been asking the bikers for their thoughts on the media. Her book also describes him as scattered, self-absorbed, misogynistic and insecure.

And Sanders is correct - both Manigault Newman and Trump once had a close relationship after she became a star contestant and popular villain on his hit reality TV show, "The Apprentice".

"I didn't want to believe it", she writes. Trump allegedly replied. "It's the greatest business book of all time".

"I think it's important to understand that if we make this a friendly departure, we can all be, you know you can look at your time here in the White House as a year of service to the nation".

Mr Trump was sworn in using two Bibles; his own and one used at Abraham Lincoln's inauguration in 1861.

This may be just the beginning of a brewing frenemy feud between Manigault-Newman and Trump.

Chait points to the a Politico story in which White House staffers say they are unwilling to take her on.

'During production he was miked, and there is definitely an audio track.

The book also claims that Mr Trump behaves "like a dog off the leash" at events he attends without his wife, Melania. It's sad that a disgruntled former White House employee is trying to profit off these false attacks'.

According to multiple reports, she cites three unnamed sources in "Unhinged" who claim to have heard Trump use the "N-word" repeatedly during the making of The Apprentice.

The accusations are among a long list of scandalous claims contained in her new book, "Unhinged", set to come out August 14.
