Seth Meyers: Trump Is a 'Racist' for Calling Omarosa a 'Dog'

Omarosa pal says a 'White House Greatest Hits box set' of tapes will keep coming if Trump keeps tweeting

"When you give a crazed, crying lowlife a break, and give her a job at the White House, I guess it just didn't work out".

Trump on Monday denied the existence of any such tape, citing the show's former producer, Mark Burnett. "The president and his family have been nothing but kind and generous and respectful to myself and everyone else that I know of color".

Some current and former staffers have struggled to find post-White House jobs - given the conflicted feelings on the Trump administration in Washington - making the campaign or a super PAC an attractive paycheck.

Republican pollster Frank Lutz also pushed back on details from the book around the alleged tape.

"I think it's really sad what's she's doing", Sanders told a White House briefing.

Asked whether Trump's language was appropriate, White House senior counselor Kellyanne Conway did not answer directly but told Fox News she had never heard Trump "issue a racial slur about anyone". When she asked Trump what she thought of Kushner in the early days of his relationship with Ivanka, Trump responded, "He seems a little sweet to me".

Last night, Omarosa Manigault Newman continued her promotional tour with an appearance on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, where she spent 18 long minutes chatting with Noah about her tell-all book, Donald Trump's managerial style, and her habit of recording every conversation she's ever had. Omarosa may be speaking out now, but she told Noah that during her time in the administration, she was "totally complicit", and she apologizes for the many lies the administration told "to the American people every single day". "In her secret tape-recording of me, it was one of many times that I would placate Omarosa to move the discussion along because I was tired of her obsession over this alleged tape", Pierson said.

Lewandowski, who said he's never worked with Omarosa, said he thinks she made the claims to promote her book.

"Nothing has more meaning to Donald than himself", she says, alleging that he and his wife Melania sleep in separate rooms and that Trump has brought a tanning bed with him to the White House. She said she'd been interviewed by special counsel Robert Mueller's office, but would not discuss details. This is a clip of the audio in which Trump spokesperson Katrina Pierson is speaking.

"With the iPhone, everybody has a tape recorder in their pocket at all time", said Lisa Banks, a partner at Katz, Marshall & Banks, which represents workers in areas such as sexual harassment, whistleblower cases and wrongful termination. "She said I was taking money from Hillary Clinton".

Whose presence in the White House was worse: Jared Kushner or Omarosa Manigault Newman? Representative Frederica Wilson (D-FL) was among those whose questioned the tweeted remarks made by the president, saying, "How dare he?"

Beyond her word that the tape exists - and comedian Tom Arnold's claim that he's heard it - there is no proof.
