Rockstar have released a new gameplay trailer Red Dead Redemption 2, captured in 4K and judging by the button prompts, the game is running on a PS4 Pro.

Red Dead Redemption 2 will officially begin disrupting the BMD team's productivity on October 26th.

It's level of hype surrounding Red Dead Redemption 2 is kind of awesome, considering just how little we've actually seen of the game.

What do you think about the newest preview for Red Dead Redemption 2?

This one should explain itself, but as long as you're near a device connected to the internet that can play video, you'll be able to watch the gameplay reveal. A PC version could possibly be in the works but nothing has been officially announced as of yet.

So far, Rockstar has managed to keep an extremely tight lid on the assets for Red Dead Redemption 2, with practically all of the materials that have been shared with the public having come straight from the developer.

As well as just gawking at the graphics the trailer has plenty of new info and focuses on the giant open world environment and how you can interact with other people. Two prompts are available at a time, and they change based on actions you've already taken.

The game is set for release on October 26, 2018. Those who will not surrender or succumb are killed. The video implies the Van der Linde gang will be driven from various territories over the course of the story, but the footage makes the camp look like a thriving community.

Digital Foundry reports that the engine is using more sophisticated techniques to render in-game characters and effects, meaning that players, in the end, are going to get a better overall gameplay experience.
