Million Limited Edition PS4 Pro arrives on shelves in August

A Limited Edition 2TB PS4 Pro Is Being Released To Celebrate 500 Million PlayStations Sold

Alongside the PS4 Pro itself, which launches on 24th August, the package will bundle in a custom DualShock 4 controller, a dark blue vertical stand, and a matching PlayStation Camera for those looking to get a head start with PlayStation VR.

While the 500 Million Limited Edition DualShock 4 does come with the system, it can also be purchased as a standalone item for $64.99.

Joining the ever-expanding collection of special edition PS4 consoles from Sony is the PS4 Pro 500 Million Limited Edition. The console is outfitted in a translucent blue shell and it comes packed with a variety of extras. This fetching finish allows you to see the PS4 Pro's (and controller's) innards, and there's even a plaque on the front of the device emblazoned with its serial number.

On top of the translucent blue design and its matching accessories, you're also getting a 2TB hard drive with this console.

Sony said that certain "extra special" units will also pop up for lucky buyers with serial numbers like 09995 (the USA launch date of the first PlayStation) and 01013, representing the October 13, 2016 United States release date of the PS VR.

'PlayStation 4 Pro 500 Million Limited Edition has been created to represent our appreciation to our loyal fans. The one you buy might even feature the PS4 United States release date serial number 01115, or 01013 for the PSVR launch date.

If you aren't going to purchase the limited edition console but like the translucent look, Sony will make the "500 Million Limited Edition DualShock 4" controller available for $64.99, along with a "500 Million Limited Edition Gold Wireless Headset" for $99.99. The console will be on sale from August 24 and will cost $500.
