Everton sign Barcelona defender Yerry Mina, Andre Gomes and Bernard

On Thursday evening, Barcelona officially announced the transfer of Yerry Mina to Everton, although the Catalan club will have the option to repurchase the player if they so desire.

Everton had a dramatic end to the window, also wrapping up deals for Brazilian playmaker Bernard and Andre Gomes, the Portuguese midfielder who had also been at Barcelona.

There was a predictably frantic conclusion to the last hours of business, the Premier League waiting to register ten players after the 5pm deadline, deal sheets submitted pending medicals and the agreement of personal terms.

Mina scored three times in three games in Russian Federation, including against Everton's England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford with a dramatic stoppage-time header to send their last-16 tie to extra-time.

The attacker, who can play either on the wing or in an advanced midfield position, has earned 14 caps for Brazil, but none since starting in their shocking 7-1 defeat to Germany in the 2014 World Cup semifinals.

Everton have agreed to sign Barcelona's Colombia centre back Yerry Mina for an initial 30.25 million euros and have also taken the club's midfielder Andre Gomes on loan, the Spanish champions said on Thursday.

Everton have signed Portugal worldwide Andre Gomes on a season-long loan from Barcelona. He has made just six appearances during his time in Spain.

The 25-year-old has been capped 29 times by Portugal and was part of the squad that won the European Championships in 2016.

'I chose Everton because of all the things I'd heard about Marco Silva and because Everton is a club with a lot of tradition, ' Bernard told the club's official website.

"Bernard is a great player, a player for the Brazilian national team, and I also followed his progress with Atletico Mineiro", Richarlison said on Wednesday.

Gomes, meanwhile, had struggled to force his way into Barcelona's side on a regular basis last season.
