Angelina Jolie Claims Brad Pitt Has Paid No Child Support

Angelina Jolie Says Brad Pitt Hasn’t Paid ‘Meaningful’ Child Support

Angelina Jolie isn't toning down her custody battle with estranged husband Brad Pitt any time soon, a source tells ET.

"Brad has fulfilled his financial commitments, so it's unfortunate that anyone would misrepresent the situation and continue to play this out in the press", a friend of Pitt told ABC News. "As of present, (Pitt) has paid no meaningful child support since separation".

According to an NBC News report, Jolie will now force Pitt to pay the child support, however, the two-page file does not define what constitutes as "meaningful support".

On Tuesday, Angelina Jolie's lawyers brought a new filing to court alleging that Brad Pitt hasn't paid ANY "meaningful" child support for the previous year and a half during their ongoing divorce proceedings - a HUGE accusation, if proven to be true!

The divorce filing, citing irreconcilable differences, triggered a bitter custody dispute during which Pitt was investigated and cleared of child abuse.

In court documents obtained by The Blast, the judge explained that "not having a relationship with their father is harmful to [the children]", and added that "it is critical that each of them have a healthy and strong relationship with their father and mother".

It's unclear, however, what "meaningful" support means in this context, as their "informal" agreement, as her lawyer describes, has yet to be made public. As a result, she's seeking formal child support as well as retroactive pay against him.

The brood is now living in London with Jolie as she films Maleficent 2, while Pitt has spent his court-ordered time with the kids in London and Los Angeles, where he is shooting Quentin Tarantino's new movie, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

But a source claims to ET that Jolie's latest move is in retaliation over the actress being ordered by a judge in June to help fix her children's relationship with Pitt.

Reps for both Pitt and Jolie have been contacted by TooFab.

When asked how Jolie was coping (as seen in the video above), she said, "My focus is my children, our children, and my focus is finding this way through".
