Stranger Things' Millie Bobby Brown Deletes Twitter Account After Homophobic Memes

Millie Bobby Brown deletes Twitter account after becoming homophobic meme

"The joke here seems to be that it's so wildly out of character and unbelievable for Millie Bobby Brown to act violently or intolerantly, that presenting her as such makes people laugh", Vulture notes.

The hashtag #TakeDownMillieBobbyBrown actually started last November, according to Deadline. The reality of the situation is that the actress is not only an LGBTQ rights supporter but also an anti-bullying advocate.

Numerous posts attribute obviously false quotes like "We don't need gun control, we need faggot patrol" to the British star.

Millie Bobby Brown has seemingly deleted her Twitter account after becoming a homophobic meme by certain users online. Instead, they're falsely accusing her of violent homophobia.

She's taken on the Demogorgon, but Twitter trolls may have been too much.

Creators of these memes have been using old photos from Brown's own social media posts, adding homophobic statements and slurs.

TooFab has reached out to Brown's reps for comment, but has yet to hear back.
