IPhone X Plus with Triple Rear Cameras Schematics Leaked

Sketchy claim of triple-lens 2018 iPhone schematic likely based on misunderstanding

Unsurprisingly, the images reveal that the iPhone X Plus will house a larger 6.5-inch screen compared to the current standard of 5.5-inches on the iPhone 8 Plus, despite reducing its footprint from 158.4 x 78.1 mm to 157.2 x 77.1 mm.

If you ask consumers which of the expected three new Apple iPhone models they are looking forward to seeing in September, most will say that the new "Plus" handset is the one that piques their interest. And, the schematics reveal that it will have a triple rear camera.

"Kuo believes that Apple may release three iPhones in fall 2018 - a relatively affordable 6.1-inch LCD iPhone, a new 5.8-inch OLED flagship (perhaps the iPhone X2) and a 6.5-inch OLED "iPhone Plus" model", CNET reported on Sunday. This is now in debate across the media, with many stating that the third slot is simply for the flash, however this contrasts previous schematics where the flash is distinctly smaller than the lenses themselves.

A new leak online shows that Apple might be following in Huawei's footsteps.

As per the report, the "budget" smartphone which may simply be called iPhone X will be a 6.1-inch phone. As per various rumours the Cupertino-based tech giant is said to launch iPhone X (second generation), X Plus, and a budget 6.1-inch iPhone with LCD display.

For some time, Apple has reserved the dual camera for the "Plus" models in its range, something that has changed with the arrival of the iPhone X.

Apple is expected to launch its upcoming iPhone in September this year, rumors and leaks of the next generation of iPhone are already building up. This is because instead of an OLED display, Apple will be going with an IPS LCD panel and will ditch a few features like 3D Touch. It's expected to feature a steel chassis and weigh slightly more than the iPhone 8 Plus (202g). Also, there's a single camera lens on the back, suggesting that it could be the cheapest of all the new iPhones. Everyone was excited this year to hear some updates regarding the next iPhone at WWDC 2018 but the conference ended with no major announcements.
