Fire Emblem Three Houses announced for Nintendo Switch

Fire Emblem Three Houses Fully Revealed for the Nintendo Switch

During its Nintendo Direct at E3, the company took the wraps off Fire Emblem: Three Houses, the first game in the main Fire Emblem series to land on the Switch. Among all the other surprises Nintendo had in store for us, we learned that Fire Emblem was making the Switch, and will be available next spring. It also showed a rich cast of characters battling with some lovely turn-based combat and attack animations.

The trailer confirms that Fire Emblem: Three Houses will deliver an experience that should be familiar to fans of the franchise. However, Nintendo noted that "Three Houses" will feature characters and a story arc that have never been introduced in the video game series. The trailer shows off all new gameplay that looks to include significantly larger groups for both players and enemies. This is a big change from just having the main characters dueling on the screen whenever players are in battle. You'll also have formations of troops that can support an individual unit.

It has been anticipated for a while that another Fire Emblem game, after the recent releases on 3DS in the past few years, was coming.
