Why Hazard should be Premier League's best player not Salah - Herrera

Chelsea star Eden Hazard has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge

Chelsea ace Eden Hazard is demanding the club show ambition in the summer market. But the Blues finished fifth this term and have failed to qualify for next season's Champions League.

And therein lies the key to winning any big game, really - not how many times Herrera can chop down Hazard but rather the speed at which United as a collective play.

Anyway, Don Balon claim that Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City and Bayern Munich are all in the running to land Hazard, who is believed to be on his way out of Stamford Bridge.

The 27-year-old has been attracting attention from Real Madrid, sparking rumours that he could be leaving in the summer.

Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard has made another important statement on his future at Stamford Bridge as the Belgian football star wants the Blues to sign more players this summer.

It was previously unknown why Hazard has not extended his stay at the club, but now the former Lille player has answered those questions. It's something big. I need to think about a lot of things. "One thing I'm sure of is that I'm happy here".

"I'm waiting for new players next season", he said, when asked what would convince him to commit his future to Chelsea. "A lot of things, then we will see".

'In my opinion he's the best player in the league, I've said that since my first day here'.

But, if Hazard isn't impressed with the team's acquisitions, his career in west London could well be coming to an end.

The Belgian has two years remaining on his current deal, worth around £200,000-per-week, and does not expect the FA Cup final at Wembley against Manchester United on Saturday to be his last game for the club, but expects some significant improvements to the squad who fell well short this season.

"It's always hard after when you win the League, we saw it two years ago", he added.

Jose Mourinho handed Herrera the unenviable task of man-marking Hazard during United's 2-0 win against Chelsea at Old Trafford last April and the Spaniard won man of the match for his performance. You never know what's happening.

"It's up to us to save the season with the FA Cup".

"We can't be in the Champions League next season so we need to win a trophy". So, we will give everything.
