MAY 16, 2018- Today, Ubisoft announced that the Closed Beta for The Crew 2 will take place from May 31, at 9am United Kingdom time, to June 4 at 9am United Kingdom time, on PlayStation4 computer entertainment system, the Xbox One family of devices including the Xbox One X and Windows PC.

Pre-loading will begin on May 29 for all players that qualify, so you can be ready to go once the beta starts.

Players can sign up now for a chance to have beta access at the official website.

Nonetheless, the series appears to be heading in an appealing new direction, with a sequel that features the ability to take instant control of cars, bikes, boats, and planes.

Are you ready for some fast and thrilling fun? As part of the closed beta, players can participate in the Motor Trend Classic Challenge which takes racers to New York City and has them compete with vehicles from the street racing family. Sign-ups are now open ahead of the beta's launch later this month.

While there's no reason to suspect a deep narrative, that's not really the point. It looks to be as much about the experimentation of using all four vehicle types as it is about the designed races.

The Crew 2 closed beta has been set for 31 May, Ubisoft has today confirmed. The original game was hamstrung by technical difficulties.
