Teacher shot dead after having sex with student

Rachael DelTondo 32 was standing on her mother's Buchanan Street driveway in Aliquippa Beaver County on Sunday when she was killed in a hail of gunfire

The death of a young woman who was gunned down overnight in her family's driveway in Aliquippa, outside Pittsburgh, has been ruled a homicide.

The school announced they were suspending her the following month. "I really don't", added Dan Casper, another neighbor. The report concluded that "Deltondo was advised that there was better places to just talk with a former student", and further stated that the responding officer hoped not to find her in the same predicament again.

When she exited the vehicle, an assailant reportedly fired several shots into DelTondo's torso.

A teacher has been shot dead on Sunday a matter of months after she was suspended from her post for allegedly being caught by the police in a compromising position in a vehicle with a 17-year-old boy.

The incident report named the teen and it was confirmed that he was not registered at the charter school.

A family member said DelTondo was returning home from getting ice cream with a friend and was shot as she got out of the vehicle.

According to Beaver Countian, DelTondo received multiple death threats, adding that she was warned at least once that she would not live to see the end of the year; DelTondo also confirmed that she reported the threats to authorities. DelTondo told police that the teen was upset and they were friends who were just talking.

She defended herself at the time by saying that the pair were just talking and that the teen was no longer a student. In fact, the police report wasn't public knowledge until the media and Pennsylvania Cyber officials received an anonymous email in October 2017 that included the 2016 Aliquippa police report, Times Online reported. Investigations uncovered a relationship between the two over Snapchat and via text messages.

No charges were brought against DelTondo over the incident, and police drove the teen home that evening. However, investigators have not revealed information about the case at this time.

Rachael DelTondo was supposed to tie the knot in 2017, but only four months later, the wedding was called off.

The leak prompted a state police investigation of the Aliquippa Police - which DelTondo complied with.

The school issued the suspension after school officials received an anonymous email about a former police report filed involving DelTondo and an underage boy that was not a student at Pennsylvania Cyber.

The school's CEO released a statement that read: "We were saddened this morning to learn of the tragic death of Rachel DelTondo, apparently the result of a violent incident in the City of Aliquippa". We have no additional information beyond what is being reported by local media. "We express our sympathy to her family and coworkers and will support them in any way possible in the weeks and months ahead as they mourn her passing".

That information led to a suspension from her teaching job at Pa. Cyber. Their wedding was canceled a few months after she was found in the auto with the student, but before her name was made public.

After DelTondo's fiancé called off the wedding - after the alleged incident occurred, but before the alleged incident was made public - DelTondo reportedly attempted to purchase the $10,000 wedding dress that she'd put a deposit down on in order to resell it.

Last year, DelTondo was featured on a Get Marty report in a dispute over her custom wedding dress.
