LG G7 ThinQ global rollout starts: 7 things to remember

LG G7 ThinQ

LG unveiled the LG G7 ThinQ earlier this month.

Now the company has started spreading its smart appliances brand to former flagships as its 2017 flagship is now listed as LG G6 ThinQ in Canada.

The listing first spotted by Wordsoftech hints at the smartphone getting a 6-inch display with a Quad HD+ resolution of 2880 x 1440 pixels, which translates to a taller 18:9 aspect ratio.

According to the leaked images, the smartphone will feature a 18:9 aspect ratio with an nearly bezel-less display. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC under the hood coupled by 4GB of RAM for the LG G7 ThinQ and 6GB of RAM for the LG G7 Plus ThinQ. A leaked specs sheet of the LG V35 ThinQ has surfaced online.

The G7 ThinQ will soon be on the market, at a similar price to the G6. Like the G7 ThinQ, the V35 ThinQ is speculated to arrive with Android 8.1 Oreo preinstalled. As the phone has already passed through FCC certification, it seems its launch is imminent.

On the optics front, the LG G7 ThinQ features a dual rear camera module with a 16-megapixel primary sensor with a 107-degree wide angle lens and f.1.9 aperture. Global rollout is underway so expect related announcements from the top retailers and mobile networks in your country.
